SITC New Crew Induction Training Briefing in 2024

From April 18 to 19, 2024, "SITC New Crew Induction Training" was held in Qingdao, Shandong Province. 53 college student crew members from more than 10 maritime universities, including Dalian Maritime University, Shanghai Maritime University, and Shandong Jiaotong University, participated in this training training.

Leaders and relevant department heads from Shanghai Ship Management, Shanghai Crew and Shandong Crew introduced SITC 's growth history and future development strategy, company advantages and crew career plans. Through vivid cases and practical experience sharing, the new crew members were introduced to safety production on board, labor protection, shipboard duty, maritime conventions and laws and regulations, mental health, boarding documents, deployment procedures and precautions for interns. Provided valuable guidance and advice to new crew members. At the same time, patiently answer their questions, hoping that they can strengthen their sailing career ideals and grow into excellent seafarers as soon as possible.

This induction training is not only the starting point of the new crew members’ careers, but also a reflection of SITC International’s training, care and support for the new generation of crew members. This enables the new crew members to quickly adapt to the new working environment, better integrate into the SITC family, and contribute to the development of the company.
