Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration visited SITC International for investigation

On May 6, 2023, Xie Kaiyun, deputy director of Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration, Zhang Xiaodong, director of Pudong Maritime Safety Administration, Zhang Wei, director of the Shipping Department of Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration, and Fan Feng, section chief, visited SITC International. Vice Chairman and CEO of SITC International Yang Xianxiang and other leaders attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Deputy Director Xie Kaiyun and his entourage conducted research on the berthing situation of SITC International's ships in Shanghai Port, ship crew management, maritime safety supervision and maritime service guarantee work. And put forward specific suggestions and requirements for ship maintenance, crew ability and responsibility, and company safety investment.

CEO Yang Xianxiang thanked the Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration for its long-term guidance and support to SITC International, and introduced the company's fleet, new ships, ship management and other basic information. The two sides discussed matters such as the construction of Shanghai International Shipping Center, international ship registration, the defect of ship detention that is of recent maritime concern, and the safety management of the company system.
